What makes for a good printed cookie?
For printed cookies, we request that you provide the finished artwork for any prints. Some minor adjustments can be done to make the best prints, but your artwork should be in ready-to-print shape. Some guidelines to follow are:
High resolution graphics or images.
At least 300 dpi,
At least 500px on longest side
Tip: Do not upload files that have been sent over text. Your phone down-samples files sent over text to be smaller and lower resolution by default.
Correct proportions for the shape of the cookie.
If you are ordering square cookies, it’s best to send the cropped version you expect to be printed.
“Polaroid”-style prints should be in a 3:2 aspect ratio - we will do our best to fit landscape images and print the best version of what is provided.
If your image has a background color (i.e. not fully white), it should extend to the boundaries of the design and shape of cookie you want to be printed. We will print right to the edge for full-color images or pictures. “Polaroid”-style prints will have a natural white border around them; however, the shape of the printed area is still rectangular.
